HexaStocks ("we", "us", "the site") is a stock screening and dividend analysis tool. This policy explains what information the site collects, why, and how it is used. You can browse HexaStocks' free-tier stock data without creating an account. Creating an account (email and password) is required to subscribe to Premium and to access Premium features from a logged-in session.
Account information. If you create an account, we collect the email address and password you provide. Passwords are never stored or seen by us in plain text — account creation, password storage (hashed), and login are handled entirely by our authentication provider, Supabase. We only ever receive confirmation of who you are, not your raw password.
Session data (local storage). Once logged in, your browser's local storage holds a session token (used to keep you logged in between visits) and a small flag marking that you've completed the onboarding tutorial. This data stays on your device; we don't collect it ourselves, though the session token is sent to our servers on each request to verify you're logged in.
Payment and subscription information. If you purchase a Premium plan, payment details (such as card information) are collected and processed directly by our payment processor, Stripe — not by HexaStocks. We do not store your full payment card details on our own systems. Premium access is checked by looking up your account's email address against Stripe's records of active subscriptions; we do not otherwise sync or duplicate your billing history into our own database.
Usage and log data. Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure may automatically log standard technical information, such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, for security and troubleshooting purposes.
HexaStocks itself does not set tracking or advertising cookies. We do use browser local storage for the session/tutorial data described above. Third-party services we rely on (see below) may set their own cookies or local storage entries subject to their own policies.

The stock data shown in HexaStocks is sourced from public filings and third-party data sources. It is not personal information about you, and browsing this data does not require you to submit any personal data of your own.
We use the information described above to operate and maintain HexaStocks: creating and authenticating your account, checking and granting Premium access, processing payments, communicating with you about your account or subscription, and troubleshooting/securing the service. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We take reasonable measures to protect any information we handle. Password storage and authentication security are handled by Supabase's infrastructure rather than custom code of our own. That said, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
HexaStocks is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
You can log out at any time, which clears your local session. You can clear the local storage used for the tutorial flag and session by clearing your browser's site data for HexaStocks. If you wish to access, correct, or delete your account or any billing information we hold, contact us using the details below.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
